When people from different states decide they want to attend a public university in Texas, finances are normally a consideration. On average, most public universities in Texas charge almost three times as much in tuition rates to out-of-staters than they do in-state students.

Through the course of the last couple of months, I have looked into why people decide to move here for school, how they pay for the higher costs and how much the top universities actually do to assist students from out of state.
